The following non-credit professional certificate programs are cohort-based and require an application prior to enrollment. For each program, an application review committee offers admission to a diverse group of students to enrich the classroom experience.

How to Apply
We welcome applications from qualified candidates who hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Applications and supporting materials must be submitted online through the myAIPS. Applicants are responsible for uploading all required application materials by the posted deadline for their desired semester of entry.

The International Student
The International Student Support Office (ISSO) provides support to international students to help them succeed in their AIPS School of Continuing Studies graduate and undergraduate classes and to adjust to life in Washington, DC.
A dedicated team of staff members offers students assistance in acquiring the linguistic and intercultural capability necessary to excel during their time at the School.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Scores
A TOEFL examination for non-native speakers of English is not required for most non-credit certificate programs but students are expected to read, write and comprehend at the graduate level to fully participate in and gain from the program.
Non-credit professional certificate programs are classified as part-time education programs. As a result, American Institute of Professional Studies cannot sponsor international students for student visas (F-1) to enroll in certificate programs.
However, prospective international students who enter the U.S. on a valid visa are eligible to enroll in courses
